Scholarships & Bursaries

At HIEA, we believe in helping today’s youth prepare for tomorrow’s world, and we do so through a variety of scholarships and bursaries for post-secondary education. HIEA has been supporting Mohawk students since 2006 with an endowed fund they established in the amount of $95,000. This awards up to three students $1,000 each towards their studies every year.

In 2014, HIEA contributed $5,000 towards McMaster’s Brian McCarry Graduate Chemistry Scholarship.

In 2021, HIEA established an $80,000 endowed scholarship fund for the Sustainable Chemistry program at McMaster University, equating to $80,000 over five years. Beginning in 2022 and every year going forward a select student will receive $2,500 in support.

HIEA is very proud to be a supporting partner in post-secondary education.
